Will the DLK Smart Download Key replace the DLK Pro Download Key S?

The DLK Pro Download Key S will remain in the VDO portfolio alongside the DLK Smart Download Key. The DLK Pro Download Key S is the basic version of the download tools. The DLK Smart Download Key is the premium version.

Does the DLK Smart Download Key require an additional licence to download data from the DTCO 4.1?

No. The DLK Smart Download Key is already "ready" for the DTCO 4.1 and the corresponding tachograph cards.

Which tachographs and tachograph cards can be downloaded with the DLK Smart Download Key?

In addition, the DLK Smart Download Key is also compatible with authorised digital and intelligent tachographs from competitors.

How can the downloaded tachograph data be archived?

The DLK Smart Download Key can automatically transfer the downloaded data via Bluetooth to the VDO Fleet App on the mobile phone*. From there, the data can be transferred to the customer's VDO Fleet Account, where it can be archived and analysed. The VDO Fleet App will be available from January 2024.

It is also possible to automatically upload the data to the VDO Fleet Portal* using the PC application KeyTools via the "DLK Automatic Uploader" of the DLK Smart Download Key.

Is the DLK Smart Download Key limited in the number of drivers and vehicles when downloading card and mass storage data?

No. The DLK Smart Download Key is not limited to a specific number of drivers or vehicles. The available memory is sufficient for several thousand downloads.
